When Cakes Fail, we have fun!

 I made a cake that Fell on me. So we thought it would be fun to punch it, and see it fall to the floor.

 I loved it and it helps get baking duds, out of your head to start a new.

 We are calling it " When Cakes Fall"! Have Fun Baking and remember to not get to stressed!

I will say, I had  some difficultly on this guy. But it worked out and people said he tasted amazing. I think if I have to do it again. Going bigger would be best. I had a very hard time with the face as well. This just might be a cake that gum paste or foundate might work best.

Me at Work I love my Job!

 I have always been a creative person but with food no. Then I had kids and fell in love with cake and the amazing art it could be.

 This cake turned out so well. Half Chocolate half vanilla with butter cream icing. My fav. pan again 14inch.

My First Fruit Filled Treat

So, this tasty treat is filled with 4 berry jam and it was great! I made it in class and only had 30mins to decorate.

Class 1

For a Christmas gift, my mother-n-law signed me up for Wilton Cake Classes. My first class went well, I learned so much. This upcoming class they will show me how to transfer a design onto the cake and to fill it with filling for more flavor. I will be share to post pictures when I am done.
