Steampunk Top Hat

 This top hat was my first fondate coverd cake.
It was 7inch tall with a chocolate fudge cake. I made the flower and gears 3 days in advance then the clock and over things the day of so they were still soft to form to the cake. The folds at the brim where not spots to be there but it worked out being a steampunk cake. They make it look old.

I had to use two box's of chocolate fondate to cover this cake. Next time I think I will brons the fondate to make it a little more steampunk.
